Our Story

Chad Hollister Band hails from Vermont.  They have been evolving and touring the country for over 20 years.  Anthony J. Resta (Collective Soul, Elton John, Shawn Mullins) says "Hollisters music is pure sonic alchemy" which means it's damn good in Vermont terms!
Chad has opened for Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Tom Petty and has shared the stage w/ every PHISH member, Billy Gibbons, Merl Saunders, Warren Haynes and Blues Traveller. His music is a voice for the Positive and reminds you that life is truly a gift as is the ability to share it through music.
Chad is signed with Pacific Records out of SanDiego, CA and released "Stop the World" featuring the FULL band. Here they are:  
The BAND:

Chad Hollister--Lead vocals, acoustic guitars, strange grunts and guitar drum.


Jeff "Primo" Poremski--Lead Guitar, vocals. Jeff has been with Chad for over 18 years on and off stage. Their duo shows are true ear candy!!

Rudy Dauth-bass. Rudy is our newest family member. Rudy has toured with Gordon Stone as well as with The Woe Doggies. A great addition!

Tommy Diehl--drums. Tommy, an Ohio native now resides in CT. He was with Acoustic Junction, Spooky Daly Pride, Jamie McLean and Ryan Montbleau.

Yahuba Garcia--percussion. Yahuba has been with us for eight years and brings amazing textures to the band. He has also played with Ryan Montbleau, Martin Sexton and Talking Heads Review.

Chris Peterman--saxaphones--Chris is our horn leader, and co writer of all our horn parts. He has been with the band for 10 years. He hails from OH but lives in VT and plays with his own band 802 and everyone else in the state!

All STAR HORN PLAYERS

Matt Avery-trombone-Matt hails from Barre, VT. Although you can sometimes find him performing on Princess Cruise Lines! He writes and performs his own music as well.

Kevin Avery-trumpet~Kevin also hails from Barre, VT, Go Spaulding! Kevin can be found playing with his twin brother Matt, as well as with numerous jazz, rock and funk acts all over Vermont.

Luke Laplant--baritone sax--Luke resides down in CT now with his wife. He plays with many artists and we're lucky to have him and his sweet tone and beard too!!

Alex Lee Clark--A Boston hep cat who wails on that trumpet. He also has many of his own projects including a large brass band with trombone legend Brian Thomas (BT).

Brian Thomas--trombone--Brian aka "BT" hails from Boston where he teaches music and a co founder of The Alex Lee Clark Brian Thomas Big Band.
